Veteran MC/producer, Substantial links with his nephew, up-and-coming rapper, W3alth to release their first single, 17 & Oh. The track emcompasses confidence and perseverance as W3alth proclaims, “No man stops me, gotta have an army”, over a sleek organ sample, hard hitting drums and pounding bass. 17 & Oh is from the upcoming EP Bridges out July 26th, produced entirely by Substantial. The title Bridges was inspired by their observation of the ongoing disconnect between the young and older generation of Hip Hop artists.
